Ronald Lane, age 73, passed away on April 29, 2025, in Key West, Florida. Known for his generosity, thoughtfulness, and knack for telling inappropriate jokes at just the right (or wrong) moment, Ron brought warmth and laughter to everyone who knew him.

Ron was a man of deep character and quick wit. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and often unexpectedly amused. He lived his life with a full heart and a sharp sense of humor that never failed to lighten the room.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wesley & Rena Lane, brother Randy Lane, and son, Brett Weiss. Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Loreen Lane, his loving children Bart Weiss, Amber Thibodeau (Edmond) and Tara Beebe (Christopher Sr.), and his cherished grandchildren Alyssa Beebe, Brandon Weiss, Chloe Beebe, Christopher Beebe Jr, Madison Thibodeau and Brianna Jones. He also leaves behind a circle of wonderful friends he considered family. His legacy of strength, kindness, and laughter will live on through his loved ones.

Ron's memory will be cherished and celebrated in the hearts of those he touched. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 5th at Key West Mortuary located at 328 Truman Avenue Key West, Florida at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Ron's honor—whether through a donation to a favorite charity or simply by sharing a laugh with someone who needs it.
