Marie Denise Balin's final moments were created at Baptist Health South Florida in Miami. Peacefully and surrounded by her family, she passed away on the early morning of March 30th, 2024, at the age of 59 years young after a courageous battle with cancer. Marie Denise Balin was a caring daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was very loved and will be missed terribly.

Marie Denise Balin was born in Petion-Ville Haiti but has lived in Key West since 1988.

Marie Denise Balin is survived by her daughter Ernestine Balin Worsley, grandchildren Anya & Jaeden, mother Sysela Balin and sister Pascaline Balin.

Marie Loved praying, cooking, traveling, and volunteering. Every morning, she would start her day with a 4am prayer session. She occupied her free time with spoiling her two grandchildren who she loved and adored very much, and she volunteered at The Basilica of St. Mary Star of The Sea Chapel every Thursday. Marie Denise Balin was the best Daughter, Mother, Sister, and Super Grandmother anyone could ask for and she will endlessly live in our hearts rent free.

We may have lost her here in this world, but we gained a fearless ancestor.

We will forever carry memories of you in our hearts Marie Denise Balin "in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!".

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint Mary Star of the Sea church..
