Obituary

Margot "Mima" Cavanzon sadly passed away on November 28th, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born in Cuba and came over to the United States in the early 60s where she began to work at Holiday Inn, Key West Handprint fabrics and from there she continued her career as a Seamstress from her home working for the Sheriff department of Monroe County.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.

A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community both in Key West, and in Orlando, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.

She was predeceased by her husband Juan Cavanzon, sister Marta Fernandez, grandson Blake Fernandez and granddaughter Janessa Cavanzon.

She leaves behind son Johnny Cavanzon (Michelle), daughter Mille Ryan (Billy) and daughter Rosa Fernandez; grandchildren, Ashley Alayon (Danilo), Billy "Papo" Ryan and Juan "John" Cavanzon, along with countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.

Professional services entrusted to Key West Mortuary 328 Truman Avenue Key West, Florida.
