Isabelle Carey Graves, affectionately known as "Izzy", was born January 28, 1961 in Key West, Florida to the late Donald George Carey and Adel Francis Alce Carey. Isabelle departed peacefully early Thursday morning, March 16, 2023 in Key West.

Isabelle was educated in the Monroe County Public School System and was a graduate of Key West High School class of 1979. After completing high school, she attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and spent several years in Europe. Upon her return to Key West, she served 23 years as a Postal Carrier for the US Postal Service where her beautiful smile could often be found on her route which included many "Old Town" and Duval Street storefronts, homes, and restaurants.

Isabelle leaves to cherish her memory, two devoted sons: Monroe Holloway III and Dontrell Adrian Holloway; six loving grandchildren: Rosalea Isabelle Hooks-Holloway, Donnelle Lisette Holloway, Justin Major Jr., Dontrell Adrian Holloway Jr., Dondre Antonio Holloway, and Monroe Holloway IV; siblings: Donna Aaron, Dale Carey and Nathan Carey; uncles: Clarence Alce, Emerson Allen, Alvin Alce, Derek Carey and Dorian Carey; aunt: Oreatha Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 31, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Newman United Methodist Church. Immediately following the viewing, family and friends are invited to the Most Historic Union Lodge #47, 328 Truman Avenue to reminisce with the family. Homegoing services will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Newman United Methodist Church. Burial to follow in the family plot of the Key West City Cemetery.
