Gladys Elizabeth
Hall
May 21, 1937 – December 9, 2025
Gladys Elizabeth Hall was born on May 21, 1937, in Key West, Florida, to the late Livingston Winters and Viola Curtis Winters. She attended Douglas High School and was a member of Cornish Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church.
On July 15, 1963, Gladys was united in holy matrimony to Alfred Hall. From this loving union, they were blessed with four children.
Gladys devoted her life to her home and family. She was a dedicated housewife and also spent time working at Singleton Enterprise, where she enjoyed laboring alongside her sisters, friends, and extended family. Those moments were dear to her heart.
Gladys was a humble and loving woman—a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Many fondly remember seeing her walking along Petronia Street with her children in tow, spending weekends sitting, laughing, and fellowshipping with her sisters and friends.
On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, Gladys peacefully crossed over God's beautiful rainbow. The Lord gently called her home, whispering, "No more pain, no more suffering—come home, My child."
She was preceded in death by her parents, Livingston and Viola Winters; her sisters, Doris Thorpe, Alice Winters, Jerline Edwards, Ursula Leggett, Lillian Gardner, and Maria Winters; and her brothers, Livingston Winters, Richard Winters, Charles Winters, Sr., Alcee Winters, and Franklin Winters.
Gladys leaves to cherish her loving memory to her daughters, Detra Parks of Atlanta, GA, and Cami Hall of Key West, FL; her sons, Alfred Hall, Jr. of Clearwater, FL, and Albert Hall of Key West, FL; and her son-in-law, Rick Parks, Sr. of Atlanta, GA.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rick Parks, Jr., Marcus Parks of Atlanta, GA, Devon Hudson of Macon, GA, and Tamika Thomas of Key West, FL; her great-grandchildren, Patrick and Marley Hudson of Macon, GA; her sisters-in-law, Adrina Winters of Anniston, AL, and Juanita Hall of Key West, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and cherished friends.
