Christopher Lee Cohen, Sr born December 18, 1966, passed away at the age of 56 on Monday, February 6, 2023. He was the son of Martin (Marty) and Nancy Cohen. He was the fourth of five brothers. Chris was a graduate of Key West High School class of 1984.

Chris married Michelle Mira March 5, 1994, and two beautiful children were born from that union. Chris was an accomplished salesman most of his life, winning several top honors, bonuses and lavish trips for his performance. He had the gift of gab like no other.

Chris was an amazing carpenter and a skilled electrician. There was nothing he couldn't build, fix or do. He became self-employed in the last few years with an extensive waiting list for his top-notch quality work.

Chris was a diehard YANKEE fan and instilled his love of the Yankees and New York in his children. Being a Yankee fan was a requirement to marry him. Chris was smart and had a great sense of humor. He was well liked by everyone. To know Chris was to love Chris.

Chris' belief in Judaism was always very strong and he constantly educated his children.

Chris was preceded in death by his Father Martin (Marty) Cohen and nephew Adam Cohen.

A Graveside service will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023, 10:00 AM at Southern Keys Cemetery, 258 Avenue A, Big Coppitt Key, FL Arrangements entrusted to Key West Mortuary, 328 Truman Avenue, Key West, FL 33040.
