Mima "Amada" Blanco, age 89, of Key West, Florida, passed away on May 1, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1934, in Cuba. Lita was a loving mother, a wonderful friend, and always brought smiles to everyone's faces. She was known for making the best flan and her home was always filled with the aromas of Cuban coffee and delicious food. Lita had a generous heart, never turning away a hungry soul or someone in need, always putting others before herself.

Lita is survived by her children Eligio, Maria, Geraldo, Henry, Ivan, and Violet Blanco. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eligio Blanco Sr, and her son, Humberto Blanco Sr.

Services for Lita will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Church Of God located at 1419 White St, Key West, FL. Viewing will begin at 9am, with the service following at 11:30am. Key West Mortuary in Key West, FL, is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
